These days the more different someone is the more popular they are. Celebrate a unique story of Epic Magical Intrique that hatched from my one-of-a-kind imagination.
I was always kind of a weird kid. I was never very good at slowing my mind down. My imagination was always running a million miles-a-minute. Most people outgrow that at some age, I guess I never did. I still stare out the window and wonder, “what if”?
Our world is such a tiny oasis of life in a vast universe, so vulnerable, yet so enduring. Just a simple blade of grass on any other world would be a miraclous discovery. We take everything around us for granted, that it was always there, and it always will be. The roads hem in the countryside, planes fly through sky, food appears magically on our shelves, fresh water is splashed around to wash our vehicles. All of this is super great, super miraclous. I don’t want a single day of life to go by without celebrating daily and using my uber imagination as a gift I have been blessed with.
I do get mad myself sometimes when I catch myself saying something like, “I wish this hour would finally be over so I could …(go home from work, go to lunch, finally arrive somewhere). Then I realize what I’m doing. Am I really wishing an hour of my limted hours on Earth to quickly go by? NO. I think that is just wrong. I want to make the most of every hour, since in the end, I will seem to have so few of them.
